Song on my mind... "White Winter Hymnal" by Fleet Foxes, as covered by Kina Grannis and her sisters (The Grannis Trio?) in the video embedded below. If you watch until the end, you'll catch a few outtakes and her clever use of a dictionary for birthday greetings and shout-outs.
Of course, being me, I wonder what book her sister, Misa, is using as a percussion instrument. Does it have any special significance or was it chosen randomly? Was thickness a factor? The thicker the book, the deeper the beat. (Upon further inspection, there appears to be a bookmark near the end of book. A current read?)
