Monday mornings are unpleasant uphill climbs, but for some reason (likely coffee-related), this morning was notably nasty. It was so bad, I was compelled to doodle.
Little did I know how therapeutic doodling would be. As soon as I finished, I felt better. It was as though the drawing had given me a shot of optimism. And so far, the effects haven't worn off.
By the way, had I spent an extra five seconds on this sketch, I'm almost certain the rain in the second scene would have hit the ground, soaking me in the process. Of course, in that same amount of time, I would have been crushed by the boulder (yes, that blob on the far right of the page is supposed to be a boulder), so being drenched would've been the least of my concerns. I guess it's good thing I don't dawdle when I doodle.
