It's an experiment that can only go horribly wrong, but I'm willing to see how horribly wrong it all goes. You are free to sit back and watch as the disaster unfolds or throw gas on the flames (by commenting) as this crashes and burns. The fun (or lack of it) will begin in less than eleven minutes.

oh, i didn't know you were doing this. i would have totally followed you! but then again, i usually don't watch in real time. 2 hours is long enough as it is. sitting thru commercials, not to mention bad singing (i've been known to FF bad performers/songs during the show! shhhh!) would be torture. also, i didn't watch last night. i know! (gasp!). but i got really tired, and one thing led to another, and when i woke up this morning, it was already 7AM! i'll catch it tonight though (TGFT- thank God for tivo) before the elimination episode though, and give you my impressions!
Funny. I had no idea I was doing this either until about 20 minutes before the show. It was just seemed like something fun and spontaneous to do. It also made the commercials go by faster, since those were the only moments I had to gobble down dinner. I would totally give you a bad time about missing last night's episode, but I haven't exactly been keeping up with the show the last two weeks, so I'm in no position to chide. Definitely let me know your thoughts after you watch it. It was an interesting episode to say the least.
okay, after watching the singing + elimination eps in one shot, i totally agree with who went home last night. as for changing up the rules a bit this year, they might as well call it, "judges to save danny or adam at some point this season"!! although i can't really see adam ever being in the bottom of this competition. what would be really cool (tangent) is i could totally see adam singing a cure song at some point. oh, i hope he does. he totally has that robert smith vibe about him. needs a bit more eyeliner though.
anyways.... i loved your running commentary, and now i am forever staring at danny and his glasses. (white last night, with black trim). i wonder how many pairs he has and if he is even vision-impaired? for a church choir director, he sure has a lot of extra cash to spend on accessories!!
also, i am bitterly disappointed that they did not perform "thriller" for their group sing. they could have really rocked the dance. oh well.
Yeah, last night's elimination was pretty obvious. I had predicted Anoop, but Jasmine was another strong candidate for the boot. Anoop better step up his game if he wants to stick around.
I think you're right. The new rule is essentially meant to save Danny or Adam, contestants the judges blatantly favor. I don't know how successful it will be. I think it may only delay the inevitable by a week.
Adam singing The Cure would be awesome, but I don't think he needs more eyeliner. He seems to be applying more than enough as it is. :P
Whenever I see Danny, the glasses are the first thing I notice. I'm sure he has perfect eyesight, but has a compulsive need to accessorize. I don't know how he affords them. All I know is that I want his vision plan so I can have color-coordinated frames for every outfit I own.
I'm thinking it was just fine that they didn't perform "Thriller". The dance from that song has been ruined for me ever since I saw Jennifer Garner and the cast from 13 Going On 30 do it. My retinas have yet to recover from the trauma.
