A different meme for a different day of the week. It's called Ten on Tuesday. This week's topic is "Ten Sports You Love to Watch". Let's get to it...
- baseball
- figure skating
- hockey
- college football
- college basketball
- soccer
- beach volleyball
- Winter Olympics (speed skating, skiing, luge and curling)
- Summer Olympics (track and field, swimming)
- The X Games (snowboarding, skateboarding, rollerblading)
If money weren't a factor, I would watch as many baseball games as possible at the ballpark. Unfortunately, money is always a factor and ticket (and parking) prices won't be coming down any time soon. The season starts again in just three weeks.
Of the ten sports or events listed, I've only seen the first six in person. I would love to attend the Olympics. If I had to choose one, it would be the Winter Games. The next one will be held two years from now in Torino, Italy. In two days, the Olympic flame will be lit for Athens 2004. It's something to look forward to this coming August.

Yeah, baseball rules.
Speaking of memes, I rarely participate in them, but I guess should thank you for inspiring one, because this month, the #1 google search that gets to my site is... "rain songs". :)
So maybe I should keep following your lead? Except, I don't think I can come up with 10 sports. Blogging has seriously eaten into my sportswatching.
Memes are good, clean fun and a good way to draw traffic from google (apparently). :P You never know, maybe next weeks Ten on Tuesday will be more appealing. :)
I agree with you about seeing as many baseball games if I had all the money in the world. Actually If I won the lottary I would drive around the US and see 162 baseball games in a season.
The Winter Olymics are coming to Vancouver in 2010. That might be a good time to see them.
I went to the Summer Games in Atlanta in 1996. The best sporting event I ever saw live was the medal round of wresting at that games. You have to do the Olympics once in your life.
Vancouver 2010! I'm hoping to see the games there and hopefully be a volunteer when the time comes. I've been seeing the British Columbia commercials and six years seems so far away. :)
