» A Day in the Life of the World from mikazuko's café

Courtesy of David, check out The May Day Project. The Daily Wildcat, the campus newspaper, does something like this every semester. They pass out disposable cameras and have people take pictures of their day. The sucky thing about it, though,... Read More

nice weather!

smart with the alarm clocks. i've thought about putting it on the other end of the room, away from the bed, so i can't snooze, but i don't know what kind of crankiness that might lead to... ;-)

What a cool idea, the whole May Day thing, I mean. Me, I have one of those alarm clocks that has 3 different levels of volume. So far, the second level still works. I don't even bother with the radio. If I REALLY need to get up, and didn't sleep enough, I set it to the loudest setting. If nothing else, my neighbor down the street with come and bang on the window or something. heehee

The weather was great this weekend. All my alarms are now far from the bed, which works most of the time. It's a challenge not to grumble and dive back into bed after hitting the snooze button.

The alarms progress from ambient to annoying, softest to loudest. I've tried just using the alarm clock by itself. It works, but it's so loud it sends my heart rate skyrocketing, which can't be good. :P

Your vacuum cleaner looks kinda cool! :P

Um... thanks. It's pretty cool, as far as vacuum cleaners are concerned. ;)

No comment on the vacuum cleaner, but I have to say I have that exact same alarm clock. How strange...unless we both bought it at Costco many years ago. Ever notice Costco stuff when you go into people's houses? I alway think it's rude to notice out loud :-).

I'm not sure where I got the clock. My guess is Service Merchandise (while it was still around). I notice things here and there, but definitely keep it to myself. :P
